Various daily working exercises and one to one tuition.

I work in watercolours, acrylic, pastel and mixed medias.

Monday-7.45 pm Evening demo in watercolour boy and girl on beach.
Tuesday – We will be doing a watercolour exercise Runswick bay
Students can do their work or use the picture from the previous night’s demonstration.
Tuesday evening – I will do a little collage of cup cake
Wednesday. –London street exercise using collage and acrylic
Wednesday evening – pastel demo woodland scene
Thursday – pastel exercise Easedale Lane Cumbria
Thursday evening, watercolour demo of a lady in hat
Exhibition of student’s work
we depart after breakfast on Friday morning.

Students may work on their own work with my help. Or take part in the daily lessons.

Pastels – various soft pastels, I like Unison, SAA and Jackson’s pastels
Pastel papers, mi Tients Soft Touch by Canson
Additional items masking tape, drawing boards, kitchen towel, 2b pencil, easel (especially if you are working in Pastel) Black felt tip, PVA glue for collage.
Also lots of colour magazines, for this collage collect colour magazines with bright colours, I like Hello and OK, Good places for magazines are asking your hairdresser or buying cheap at table tops/car boot sales. I will also have extra picture references or bring your own

Materials I suggest the following
Watercolour- Cadmium Red, Permanent Rose, Lemon Yellow, Cadmium Yellow, Ultramarine Blue, Cerulean Blue and Cobalt Violet
Water paper – Saunders Waterford or Bockingford 300lbs (600gsms)
I will have Bockingford for sale
Brushes rigger brush no 3 and 6, round no 10
Extras – cloth for table, kitchen towels, hairdryer, apron, making fluid,
Drawing board, easel (table or floor standing)
Acrylics same colours as above, with addition of a large tube of Titanium White
1 Acrylic canvass ( 20 X 16 ins ( or acrylic day)
1 mount board, roughly 20 x 16 ins
