The South Gare area of Tees-mouth Redcar is a painters paradise. Views of old steelworks vista, small inlets with fishing boats and fisherman’s huts. We have the use of the café viewing room, looking over Paddy’s Hole. The café  provides food and refreshments with toilets. The Gare is a remote area, so warm cloths and comfortable shoes are essential. Good parking. The viewing room upstairs, has table and chairs a great area to use if the weather is too bad.

Students should bring small portable chair, sketch book, variety of pens and pencils.

I’m experienced in most medias, working in watercolour and acrylic.

Camera, iPad, 2 medium canvasses and acrylic paints plus watercolour paper and paints, brushes, kitchen roll, Black felt tip pen.
